Don’t Muck Up Your Loan
When you’re going through the home loan process, be sure to avoid any of the actions on the following list to ensure a smooth closing.
DO NOT make any major purchases (IE cars, boats, ATVS, etc.)
DO NOT quit your job or make any big changes to your employment/pay structure
DO NOT make any large bank deposits
DO NOT move money between bank accounts
DO NOT run up the balances on your existing credit card accounts
DO NOT use “Mattress Money” or “Safe Money” for down payment OR to payoff debt for qualifying
DO NOT close any lines of credit
DO NOT open any new lines of credit
DO NOT enter into deferred payment plans
DO NOT co-sign on any loans
